What is a payment invoice and how do I create one? A payment invoice is intended for a one-time payment — for example, a purchase, order, or balance top-up. The amount is fixed in the selected fiat equivalent, such as USD, EUR, or RUB, while the customer pays it using an available cryptocurrency. You can create an invoice manually in the dashboard or automatically via the API.
How many invoices can I create? The total number of invoices in a project is unlimited. By default, you can create up to 20 invoices per minute. If your project requires a higher limit, contact support.
How long is a payment invoice valid? The invoice lifetime can be configured for the project: 1, 2, 4, 8, or 12 hours. By default, an invoice is valid for 1 hour. After the expiration period, its status changes, and it is not recommended to use the old payment details for a new payment.
How do I check the payment status of an invoice? Invoice information is available in the Atomic Pay dashboard. For automatic payment processing, use the API or webhooks — the system will automatically send a notification to the specified URL (webhook) when the payment status changes.
What happens in case of underpayment or overpayment? If the customer sends less than the required amount, Atomic Pay will record a partial payment and wait for the remaining amount. If the received amount exceeds the amount specified in the invoice, the payment will be credited and the overpayment information will be displayed in the dashboard.
Can I delete a payment invoice? Only an unpaid invoice can be deleted. This can be done manually through the dashboard or programmatically via the API.
